Family Rooms (40 sqm) include a bedroom with a sitting area and balcony access, and a small separate room with a single bed or bunk bed. Panorama Family Rooms (46 sqm) feature a bedroom, a gallery with two single beds, and a sitting area convertible to a sofa bed with Matterhorn view. Family Suites (65 sqm) in the chalet part of the hotel include two bedrooms (each with two single beds convertible to a double), a living room with sofa bed, two toilets, garden terrace, safe, coffee and tea maker, minibar, hairdryer, and bathrobe. Each room includes: Ironing facilities, Heating, Tea and coffee facilities, Mini-bar, Turndown service, Sitting area, Terrace, Mirror, Free toiletries, Electric kettle, AM/FM alarm clock, Flat-screen TV, Carpeted floor or Parquet floor. Bathrooms have a shower or bathtub, and a hairdryer. Wi-Fi is available; pets are welcome.

Alpen Resort & Spa is near the railway station, Gornergrat station, and ski lifts. It is 650 meters from Zermatt and 80 km from Sion. The hotel is 300 meters from the train station and Gornergrat Bahn, and a few minutes from the Sunnegga Express. The hotel provides a shuttle between 7 AM and 9 PM. By car, guests can drive to Täsch, five km from Zermatt, and park. Taxi companies in Täsch drive to the entrance of Zermatt.
